Burns Night
QUIG’S PUB
January 25th
Each year, about the anniversary of the Scottish poet’s birth (now 264 years ago), admirers of Robert Burns eat haggis, neeps and tatties, and share their favorites of his writings. Come celebrate the birthday of one of Scotland’s most beloved poets with us. Scotch is the suggested spirit, but please order whatever whets your appetite. There will be readings of Scottish poetry and wonderful banter in the bar. We won’t make you eat Haggis, but if you’d like to read ode to a haggis, you are most welcome. Drew Chupa will be hosting and cajoling audience members to do their best attempt at a Scottish accent.
