Yes & Stand Up is a crossover of Improv and Stand up performances.  Three comedians perform stand up sets and a team of improvisors will create scenes inspired by their sets.

Sarah Mohtes-Chan
A bisexual (newly out), queer, Chinese Jewish American, who is also the grandchild to Holocaust survivors and Chinese refugees. These ever-growing, intersectional identities mean I have a really easy time fitting in wherever I go. Just kidding! But it does mean I’ve learned how to shift and navigate a diversity of spaces, and enjoy these unique layers of myself. I have a background in improv comedy, but my new love is stand up. I’m new to the scene, and beginning to test the waters at open mics around Philadelphia. In addition to comedy and volunteering at Crossroads, my many loves include playing soccer with CASA and the Falcons, anything plant related, and getting lost in a sea of Mighty Bread treats.

VENUE INFO: The Skinner Studio at Plays and Plays is a third floor walk-up.  There are not elevators or mobility devices on-site.

COVID-19 INFO: An N95, KN95 or surgical mask is encouraged while in the building. If you do not have one a disposable surgical mask will be provided.
